Cameron to outdo Brown in drag act
The terms Labour and Tory 'camps' will mean what they say on the tin...

As we hinted last week in quoting a Tory spokesman, it now appears David Cameron has thrown the handbag into the ring and wants to outdo Gordon Brown after it was revealed the PM will dress up as the Queen.

The spokesman admitted last week that Mr Cameron had 'the face for drag' and today we can exclusively reveal that the leaders of both British parties will do their first head to head in full drag next week.

Ahead of the official announcement Mr Cameron told reporters he wished to be seen as the new Mrs Thatcher.

"Not only will I take on her ethos, her housekeeping sense, and usher in a New Age of Thatcherism, altered to fit modern circumstances, I will also take on some of her lovelier outfits and have them altered to fit my size."

Gordon Brown has been seen clumping about the corridors of Westminster in a full length white chiffon number practicing balancing a tiara on his head.

"It's awful," a Downing Street insider admitted, "Bloody awful. Reminds me of Les Dawson. Only Les was TRYING to make you laugh. No-one dare say a thing to Gordon. He just flies into a rage and the dress splits up the side.

"Please, I must go be sick."

Although Labour party members are supportive of Gordon's new ideas, privately they know Cameron can pull it off much better than the lumbering PM.

"I mean come on," said one who wished to remain nameless but let's just say he was very "frank" with us,"David is just so much more in tune with his feminine side, isn't he? You can't see Gordon being a bit ladylike. He looks like Ann Widdicombe!"

Once more the Lib Dems are the only ones who appear to have any policies that differ from the approach of the Tories and Labour.

Nick Clegg, who trained as a town crier and cow poker said, "They've really lost the plot this time, haven't they? I mean, who do they think they are? Students? Why don't they just SHOUT VERY LOUDLY and point their fingers at people? Apart from that, they've took all the best female role models in civic life. Think I'd make a good Widow Twanky?"
